About the design:

Designed by artist Lauren Echo, with inspiration from the tradition of Pacific Crest Trail thru hikers summiting Mount Whitney at sunrise. It is a steep, early morning climb, but worth it to see the sun come up over the desert from the highest point in the lower 48.
